By adding PacketCable™ Multimedia capabilities, Active Broadband Networks has created the first truly dynamic Resource Management solution.  By combining detailed subscriber, service and network usage and status information with dynamic service control, the Active Resource Manager with PCMM™ enables development of resource aware dynamic applications.  Using a combined Web Services API, applications can query accurate network and subscriber information collected from the CMTS using IP Detail Records and leveraging that information effect the dynamic resource control necessary to ensure application operation.
