Description
PacketCable voice service operation depends on the correct configuration of CMTS-MTA tables configured in the CMS. When a CMTS is added and subscribers are distributed between multiple CMTS the CMS tables have to be updated. This document describes an alternative, automated way to keep MTA-CMTS mapping updated dynamically by combining the Active Resource Manager with a DQOS capable PacketCable Multimedia Policy Server.
